Anne Weber AKA Nanou . Pastel Artist

I spent my life engaging in architecture, dance, outdoor activities, travels, and observing the world. My experience has nourished my inspiration and is expressed through my brilliant pastels. I am known for creating strong designs and provocative color schemes, capturing the light and atmosphere of landscape scenes, using bold strokes and a unique perspective!

Born in France, I practiced architecture in Denver since 1988 and paint with pastel since 2006. The same laws of composition to create architectural designs applies to painting where the canvas is thoughtfully organized with shapes, textures, values, and colors. Landscapes from Colorado, Utah, Arizona, California, Mexico, and France are my favorite subjects and a reflection of my love of nature.

As a member of the Pastel Society of Colorado (PSC) since 2015 and on the board since 2020, I am engaged in the organization to promote pastel painting and sharing my work entering many exhibits such as:
